About the Role
Senior Consultants and Consultants shall support and coordinate the team to complete green building projects; undertake on-site surveys, air quality and noise modelling and predictions, green building analysis; be responsible for undertaking and/or supervising noise/ air quality/ water/ drainage & sewerage impact assessment (including modelling study) and design of noise/ air quality/ water pollution control measures for infrastructure and development projects; be responsible for undertaking and/or supervising green building assessment/ energy simulation/ acoustic design/ air ventilation assessment etc.; collate, analyse data and prepare technical reports; carry out site survey, inspections and measurements to obtain information for meeting specific project requirements; meeting with clients, consultants and contractors; and
perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering: Chemical, Civil, Acoustic, Building Services, Environmental, Mechanical, Electrical and Computing.
Working Experience for Senior Consultant > 5 years; Consultant > 3 years
Practical experience on noise/ air quality modelling and impact assessment works gained in consultancy setting (including hand-on experience in using models such as RoadNoise, CALINE, AERMOD etc.)
Knowledge and experience of BEAM Plus, LEED, WELL, BREEAM and CGBL. Candidates with professional qualifications such as BEAM Pro, LEED AP, WELL AP, BREEAM AP and CGBL Member would be an advantage
Candidates with more in-depth and relevant working experience could be considered for senior roles
Strong customer relationship in liaising with clients
Strong problem solving skills and negotiation skills
Ability to undertake interdisciplinary technical work and able to work under pressure in a fast work environment
Excellent skills in written and verbal communication (English, Chinese and Mandarin)
With Computer modelling experience in green buildings design and assessment is an advantage (e.g. Energy, Daylighting and Lighting, CFD, Thermal Comfort and etc.)
